I slept from 4 AM to 6 PM today. Therefore, I'm just going to share this exchange with you guys because it made me laugh:
I tweet the following: "I'm seriously considering skipping my date tonight. Not showering/trying and watching gg/greys/office/flashforward/modern fam sounds so good"
20 minutes later I get an IM from my one of my best friends back in MI:
bff: this is why you're single, anda.
bff: get out of bed
bff: shower
bff: and wear something male-friendly.
bff: it'll go amazingly, but you have to show up for it.
bff: i love you. NOW, UP!
Sometimes I just need people to talk sense into me.
But it's SO cold and I don't own "male-friendly" things. jgkfgjfdklhjdh;shfjs
I am seriously not looking forward to getting ready, and I have to be shower, find a decent outfit, do my hair, and BE THERE at 12. It's 9.54.
Don't even wish me luck. Luck is wished for important things like passing exams, not gross girly things. I'll attempt... something... soon.

[photo caption: no, really. I miss Anthropologie A LOT.]
I feel you completely.
ReplyDeleteToday, I woke up at 10:20 AM and thought, "Oh good, I'm up early, today will probably be productive."
It's 6:12PM and I've yet to leave my room. I read an entire book (non-homework) and eaten Easy-Mac and talked to my room mate.
I did take a shower, but afterwards I changed back into pajamas and did not fix my hair or make-up.
It's just ... one of those days.
But I hope you enjoy your date! Your friend is very sensical, and I'm sure once you get there it will be well worth the pain of getting ready and up and what not. =]
Worst case scenario, the date sucks, and you go home early and then watch TV and forget all about it.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sure it will be (probably was by now) fine. He's the one who likes Harry Potter, right? :)
Also, I'm way jealous of your having had 12 hours of sleep!
