october fourth.

Mwhahaha: I've discovered a plan so I can go to bed after the club, instead of blogging: BLOG BEFORE. No comments needed about how this was tres obv, I'm slow sometimes. I woke up sometime around 3, gosh I love not being home for this part. I really love doing things on my own time, even if said time is drastically reduced since I spend so much of it sleeping. Actually, that's one of the big  things that surprised me this past year. Even with my horrible sleep schedule and seemingly poor time management habits, I still get my stuff done. This means that I might actually make it on my own, my parents' way of doing things isn't the
only way that works! Whoo! So I woke up late, took my time putting clothes away while having a solo dance party, showered, and got ready.
I planned on going to starbucks to have coffee and read by myself because I've been craving to reread Looking for Alaska but haven't had time. So I get ready, rain boots and all, and go to my "bookshelf" which is just too many books teetering hazardly atop my printer. IT'S NOT THERE. I'm 99% sure it made the voyage over with me, but I can't find it anywhere. I took my boots off, looked everywhere. It's nowhere to be found. Sad panda. I'm going to ask my mom to check but she'll probably get pissy that my biggest worry is trying to locate some book when school starts tomorrow. Deep sigh. I will find it. I will.
Speaking of school, tomorrow is technically the first day, but it's just like an opening ceremony and speakers and stuff, except apparently teachers are on strike so I guess it's up in the air. A lot of people are happy about this, but I was kind of looking forward to school starting. As much as I love sleeping in till 3, it's good to have some concrete routine and responsibilities other than showering and laundry.
I decided to pick up Emily Giffin's Something Borrowed and reread that, I forgot what a good writer she is. I got a lot (three) of compliments on my hair while I was reading, and while I was flattered, the people took my smile and thank you as an invitation to sit at my table and start talking to me. I'm all about meeting new people and being friendly, but sometimes I just want to be by myself, thank you very much. Also, most of the pink is gone so it looks like a brassy cotton candy color. Still, they were nice and I'm just going to chalk up this semi-bitchiness to PMS as well.
Walking home towards the subway I purposely went through every puddle possible (these boots are going to my head, I know) while old people played it safe and cast me disdainful glances. Be jealous, suckasss!
So, I guess that was my day. Nothing too exciting, although I did throw my old toothbrush away and open a new PINK one. Sassy, I know. And I learned that The Vagabond's name is Lauren, so hello!

xox,
